Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director, the central transport supervisor is responsible for the transporters and the transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Additionally, he/she coordinates the day-today activities of the department, assures delivery of objects to patient care areas and ensures that transport equipment is properly maintained. II. Position Requirements: A. Education: A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. B: Experience: Hospital Supervisor or related experience preferred but not required. On the job training provided.
