Responsibilities include ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway care, and specialized interventions such as intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy assistance, and arterial line placement. This role requires independent clinical judgment, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, and the ability to mentor and support team members. What You Will Do Perform respiratory assessments and manage airways, ventilators, and bi-level non-invasive ventilation Conduct pulmonary diagnostics, deliver medicated aerosols, and perform bronchial hygiene and lung expansion therapies Assist with intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy procedures, arterial line placement, and ABG sampling, analysis, and interpretation Recognize changes in patient condition and adjust care based on approved protocols Participate in rounds with physicians in critical care areas Serve as a preceptor and contribute to the development of new and existing staff Complete all mandatory training within established timelines Minimum Qualifications License to practice respiratory care in Idaho or Oregon Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at time of hire ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
