The Nursing Resource Pool offers you increased flexibility in your scheduling, while allowing you to float only at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. We support our employees with a focused orientation and training about our equipment, processes and procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units, which means more manageable patient ratios. In the Nursing Resource Pool you could float to any of the units listed below: Atrium East (Med/Surg) Atrium West (Inpatient Rehabilitation) Courtyard East (Short Stay and Head Pain) The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. Shift Available: 7pm-7:30am, Night Shift Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period) Weekend and holiday requirements Required Qualifications Requires current Michigan Nursing License Two years of recent medical-surgical or higher acuity level nursing experience Graduation from accredited nursing program New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years Canadian Nurse are encouraged to apply About the Chelsea Hospital Chelsea Hospital is a 103-bed, not-for-profit hospital established in 1970 leading the way in patient safety in satisfaction.
