Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Hauenstein 2 - Sepsis, Trauma & Multi-Specialty Step Down Hauenstein 2 Stepdown is a 16-bed, multi-specialty stepdown unit dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our nurses care for a diverse and complex patient population, including medical-surgical stepdown, oncology stepdown, trauma stepdown, and sepsis patients, providing a higher level of monitoring and clinical support while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Our RNs: Care for complex medical-surgical, oncology, trauma, and sepsis stepdown patients Perform advanced patient assessments and monitoring Enhance critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Build expertise in managing step down patients Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses Play a key role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice Where expertise grows, teamwork thrives, and exceptional patient care begins. What You Will Work: Full time 3 - 12 hours shift per week Every Third Weekend Rotation 7:00 AM - 7:30P What Registered Nurse, RN will need: Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire Licensed in the State of Michigan Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months) Experience as an RN required.
