Employment Type: Part time Shift: Weekend Shift Description: Patient Care Technician (PCT) Trinity Health Livonia Hospital – Livonia, MI THIS IS A CONTINGENT POSITION. TRAINING WILL BE FULL TIME AND THEN REGULAR SHIFT IS WEEKENDS. Trinity Health Livonia Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT provides direct patient care while supporting a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care including vital signs, intake/output, weights, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) Communicate proactively with the care team and report patient needs or condition changes Assist with clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, oxygen therapy, and basic wound care Support patient safety initiatives including fall prevention and infection control Maintain a clean and organized patient environment and document care in the EMR Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family orientation Uphold Trinity Health’s mission, values, and service excellence standards Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required One year of patient care experience preferred or completion of relevant training (CENA, PCT, MA, EMT, or nursing fundamentals) Current BLS certification required Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency Join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care.
