Key Responsibilities: - Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in acute care settings, including medical-surgical units, emergency departments, and critical care areas. - Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical exams, vital signs, and health histories. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. - Monitor patients’ conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to clinical emergencies. - Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance strategies. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, including orientation programs and workshops. - Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards in nursing practice.
