Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 6 pm. Position Summary: As a Medical Assistant, you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in a clinic or practice environment. A Medical Assistant - MA is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. What you will do: Provide appropriate patient care, triage patients, check-in assessment and discharge, medication administration at the direction of supervisor or physician, wound care, splinting or other treatments Room set up and patient preparation Perform office tests, administrative duties and other tasks as assigned What you will need: High School diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant diploma or a current Medical Assistant Certification from a national agency: NCCT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP or AAMA; or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT Current BLS through the American Heart Association Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred Position Highlights and Benefits We serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.
