Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: POSITION PURPOSE Manager, Facilities: Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee functional responsibilities across designated sites within the region. This role enables local execution of enterprise strategy, ensures consistent performance, and provides expert guidance on business and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with strong healthcare operations experience and a commitment to excellence in service delivery. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead, guide, and direct functional responsibilities across Trinity Health Oakland. Enable strategy execution to address internal and external business and regulatory challenges within the Oakland region. Provide functional expertise and ensure fulfillment of performance and service standards across assigned sites. Manage operations for a portfolio of up to two Trinity Health Oakland locations, ensuring consistent operating performance. Achieve financial goals and drive operational efficiency across Oakland-based facilities. Identify, define, and solve complex problems impacting business management and direction at Trinity Health Oakland. Collaborate with the SASS Area, Regions, and Health Ministries to ensure strategic and operational alignment specific to Oakland. Maintain awareness of industry developments, trends, and standards relevant to the Oakland market. Provide decision support and lead operational optimization initiatives within Trinity Health Oakland. Oversee multiple small sites or a single medium/large site within Trinity Health Oakland’s regional health ministry. MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. A combination of equivalent education & experience will be considered. MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in hospital maintenance/medical equipment operations management required. Must demonstrate financial and operational management skills. Proficient with construction document reading (plans and specification); working knowledge of codes, regulations and standards including but not limited to; Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The Joint Commission (TJC), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), other national, state, and municipal regulatory requirements, policy and procedure development, and implementation. Three years in healthcare management, construction management, plant operations, or medical equipment management. Progressive management experience (may have served in lead position or acted in absence of management.)
