There is loan forgiveness opportunity for Licensed Clinical Social Workers POSITION SUMMARY: Provides evaluation and individual/group therapy within Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health setting. Responsible for providing intensive casework, assessment, intervention and referral services to patients and/or their families. Emphasis is placed on providing for patient’s social needs, exercising initiative and independent judgement based upon professional knowledge, experience and hospital policy. Liaison to other services along the continuum of care and community support services. EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling. Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Master Social Worker ( LMSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) through the State of New York WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS: Clinical setting, exposure Class I, routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. WORK CONTACT GROUP: All services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, various regulatory and professional agencies. SUPERVISED BY: Manager and Coordinator Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
