The JumpStart RN Program allows you to secure a full-time Registered Nurse role before graduation while receiving monthly financial support during the final months of your nursing program. MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN CARDIAC CARE 7S is a cardiac telemetry unit specializing in heart failure management. Nurses on the unit are trained to care for patients with Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), gaining valuable experience in advanced cardiac therapies. New graduate nurses can expect to begin VAD training after six months on the unit, while experienced nurses will receive VAD training after orientation. Eligibility Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program Expected graduation within approximately 9 months Eligible to work as a Registered Nurse upon successful completion of the program and licensure requirement Financial Support Participants receive monthly payments beginning with their JumpStart agreement and continuing through one month after graduation, for a maximum of 9 months. This support is designed to help nursing students focus on their education while preparing for a successful transition into professional practice.
