Dietary Aide position summary The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and assure that quality dietary services are provided on a daily basis. Responsible for maintaining the dietary department in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as with other departments within the program to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the participants Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed Assist in preparing and serving nutritional supplements and snacks under the direction of the Dietitian or designee Work in various line functions as assigned to include setting up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions within the kitchen area Participate in and supports Quality Improvement Initiatives Maintain the confidentiality of all PACE Organization (PO) procedures, results, and information about participants, families, and vendors. Minimum qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. One (1) to two (2) years of food preparation in a healthcare setting preferred Minimum one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly population Apply now!
