Join us and experience a workplace that truly values you! “This position provides weekend coverage for the radiology department every other weekend for general x-ray and CT. Shifts are a combination of in-department and on-call beginning Friday 7:00 am continuous until Monday 7:00 am. The employee will be in the department during specific hours and required to be within a 20 minute response time during on-call hours. A sleep room is available on-site for on-call shifts.” Shift: This is every other weekend Friday morning - Monday morning Lifestyle Call position with some shifts in the department required. Responsibilities: Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients. Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order. Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity. Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. Qualifications: Must have relevant credentials as defined below: Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB). Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred. Maintains active registry status. Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
