What you’ll do: Under the guidance of the manager, the Patient Access Coordinator is expected to perform a higher level of generally more complex job specific responsibilities. They greet patients and family members in a professional and courteous manner. The Patient Access Coordinator obtains and verifies demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information during the registration process, accepts point of service payments or provides guidance for payment options and clears the patient for service delivery. They act as the primary point of contact between the Patient Access Representatives and the Pt. Access Management Team. Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education. Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience preferred. Customer service, Registration, Insurance verification, and POS collection experience preferred Preferred: EPIC Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Compensation: Pay range: $18.16 hr. - $28.14 hr. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
