Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Cat Scan Tech to join our Radiology team! Shift: PRN, per department needs. Weekend and holiday rotations required. Variable days and shifts, predominately 12 hr shifts, weekend commitment is min 1 weekend a month but could be every 3rd depending on PTO needs. Job Description Summary: The technologist is responsible for performing all CAT Scan procedures including those utilizing oral and/or injected contrast agents. The technologist assists the radiologist with interventional procedures including biopsy and drainage procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality. The technologist must also be able to perform Diagnostic radiology exams. Major Responsibilities: Perform all CT Scan procedures Perform Diagnostic Radiology exams needed Utilize the hospital EMR with accuracy Utilize the Radiology PACS system Accept additional assignments and tasks Provide CT coverage after hours participating in “ON-CALL” rotation as needed. Minimum Qualifications: ARRT with CT certification required Delaware license in Radiology Technology required. BLS required.
