Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Cardiovascular Sonographer to join the diagnostic Cardiology team. In this role, you will perform non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the heart and vascular system, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate preliminary findings that support patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in echocardiography and related cardiovascular studies. What you will do Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound scans (Transthoracic echo with and without contrast; Transesophageal Echo; Pediatric Echo and/or Carotid Duplex) Accurately acquire, analyze, and document ultrasound images and measurements Prepare patients for procedures and explain the exam process clearly and compassionately Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Minimum Qualifications Education: Completion of Certified Cardiac Ultrasound program. Licensure: One of the following certifications (current or pending): RDCS Certification, CCI Certification: BLS certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred.
