Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Justification: This position helps coordinate inpatient scheduling for Sunnyview patients. It also assists with checking in and checking out patients upon arrival for imaging studies. In addition, the role supports the importing of outside imaging studies used for comparison and assists with managing Critical Alerts for Ellis Hospital. They also provide adequate backup in reception coverage by assisting in greeting outpatients, collation and handling incoming calls. In supporting the practice physicians this position will be responsible for surgical scheduling. Responsibilities: Administrative support to Physicians and Senior Staff in the Office Surgical Scheduling Backup to Registration Associates Other duties as assigned What you will need: Associate's degree in Administrative Medical Secretary or similar major or 5 years of related experience. Surgical scheduling experience required Familiar with physician's office procedures Good oral communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, excel, graphics. HS Diploma / GED Required Pay range: $20.20-$26.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location Ability to lift 20 lbs.
