Job Summary
Our Trinity Woods campus, on the grounds of Mount Mary University, is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Maintenance Director to lead our Plant Operations team that includes Maintenance, Utility and Housekeeping. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management and execution of plant operations across our campus, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in facility performance while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the Plant Operations team that includes Maintenance, Utility and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely repair and upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance and housekeeping schedules
- Oversee HVAC system repair, troubleshooting, and routine servicing to maintain optimal climate control across all facilities.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs from planning through execution while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation.
Skills
- Proven management experience leading Plant Operations teams or maintenance teams in a manufacturing or healthcare environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance practices
- Extensive electrical experience including high voltage and low voltage systems management.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC system troubleshooting and repair
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on supervising teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations pertinent to industrial maintenance environments to ensure a safe working space for all staff.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
