Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Richmond, VA for an Early Childhood Educator. In this role, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, provide a nurturing environment for children, and encourage creativity and learning through play-based activities. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and assessing children's growth, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a well-organized and safe classroom environment in alignment with educational regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development principles and best practices in working with young children.
- Creativity skills to design engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children.
- Strong organization skills to maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in an inclusive and diverse environment.
- Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
- Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of state educational regulations and safety standards is a plus.
