: The purpose of the Academic Support Coordinator is to manage the Cardinal Success Centerand coordinate student academic support services across a Trinity Valley Community College campus. This role focuses on fostering student success through tutoring, mentoring, and cross-curricular support, while collaborating with faculty, staff, and various departments. The position also supports retention efforts, oversees part-time staff, manages resource services, and ensures students have access to the tools and resources they need for academic and career advancement.

- Facilitate programs such as tutoring, mentoring, and learning communities to support academic success.
- Learn and train and certify as an Academic Coach.
- Assist with hiring, training, and supervising student workers and tutors.
- Assist students as a tutor if needed.
- Contribute to persistence and retention planning and initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance active learning and cross-curricular opportunities.
- Collaborate with coaches, faculty, and staff to determine study hall schedules.
- Develop academic support programs targeting specific high risk student populations.
- Analyze and plan academic support programs based on student academic data.
- Work with the Instructional Designer to develop effective student support events and resources.
- Partner with the Career Advisor and Library staff to provide career guidance and access to learning resources.
- Identify and suggest instructional technology for student learning environments.
- Help develop materials to promote pathways, learning resources, and career opportunities.
- Safeguard sensitive information, including testing credentials and passwords.
- Monitor students during exams as needed.
- Provide printing, scanning, and copying services for students.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
