Job Title: Nursery Worker (Part-Time)
Reports To: Nursery staff will report to the Pastor
Compensation: $18/hour

Expectations:
- Provide a safe, loving, and caring environment for all children in the nursery (ages 0-5 years old), including following all Safe Gatherings (child protection) guidelines.
- Arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings and remain in the nursery until 11:15 a.m., or until the last child has been picked up by a parent or guardian.
- Ensure that the nursery is clean and ready to be used again the following week.
- Work well with other adult nursery staff.
- Report any issues with either the nursery space or children/parents to the pastor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must undergo Safe Gatherings Training (3-hour online class) or equivalent.
- Must undergo a background check.
- Must provide list of references.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior childcare experience.
- First Aid/CPR Certified.
Hours: Trinity United Methodist Church is seeking nursery workers for Sunday mornings (9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.), with the possibility of other days/times. This is a part-time position subject to the personnel policies of the church for non-clergy employees. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate becoming Safe Gatherings certified (or equivalent) as required by Trinity United Methodist Church’s Safe Gatherings policies.
