Trinity Trailer is seeking a skilled Welder to join our Fabrication team. This position fulfills an essential role in the trailer building process by building components of the trailer with precision and care. - Perform MIG welds, such as vertical and horizontal fillet welds, with a high degree of quality and according to company standards
- Weld and install components of the trailer according to blueprints
- Inspect individual components of the weld, to ensure all components meet quality standards
- Read and properly interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of company employees
- Adhere to and ensure company policies, attendance policies, and safety regulations are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform vertical and horizontal fillet MIG welds, with a high degree of quality
- Problem solve and draw valid conclusions when issues arise
- Multitask, manage time, and work in a fast pace environment
- Read tape measures and perform simple math such as adding and subtracting fractions, decimals, and whole numbers
- Follow written and verbal instructions from management
- Convey information effectively
- Experience or ability to read blueprints
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Experience operating a crane is a plus
- Experience operating tools such as grinders, levels, buffers, impact guns, and D.A. sanders, is a plus
