Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and reliable Ironworkers for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects. Candidates must be safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of working in physically demanding industrial and construction environments while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform layout, rigging, connecting, bolting, and welding of structural steel in accordance with project drawings and instructions.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company quality and safety standards.
- Cut, position, and bolt steel bars and components to reinforce concrete structures.
- Erect structural steel frames and miscellaneous steel assemblies.
- Drill holes into steel members for bolting and installation.
- Bolt and weld steel components into place as required.
- Install reinforcing bars into forms to support concrete work.
- Tighten and secure cables, braces, and structural supports.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other construction documents.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all jobsite safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in structural and miscellaneous steel erection preferred.
- Knowledge of rigging, connecting, bolting, welding, and steel erection practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and withstand the physical demands of steel erection work.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying outdoor conditions.
