Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, and equipment in compliance with NEC codes, company standards, and safety best practices.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the installation crew.
- Ensure thorough documentation of each installation, including photos, array and equipment diagrams, and existing site features, and submit all materials promptly.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite that reflects company professionalism.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following all policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, climbing ladders, and working at heights for extended periods.
- Ability to kneel, crouch, and lift/move 40–50 lbs. regularly in varying outdoor conditions.
- Proven ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
