What You’ll Do
- Perform electrical service upgrades and panel replacements.
- Complete utility meter relocations and electrical modifications.
- Install wiring, conduit, disconnects, and other solar-related electrical components.
- Support installation teams with electrical connections for solar systems.
- Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical code requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and service work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
- Document completed work with photos and job notes.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and team members.
- Electrical testing tools (multimeters, etc.)
- Hand and power tools
- Conduit bending and installation tools
- Ladders, fall protection, and safety equipment
- Company vehicle for travel between job sites
- Start your day reviewing job assignments with your team
- Travel to residential job sites
- Perform panel upgrades, meter relocations, and electrical installations
- Support solar installation teams with system connections
- Ensure all work meets code and safety standards
- Document your work and prepare for the next job
- Valid Electrical License required (Journeyman, Master, or local equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience in residential electrical work
- Solar experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work outdoors and on rooftops when needed
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
