Keep our school running smoothly and safely behind the scenes! We’re looking for a dependable Facilities Support team member who takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces where students and staff can thrive.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Support position performs daily evening maintenance and custodial tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for students and staff.
SHIFT: Flexible; evening and weekend availability required (between 4:30 PM–10:00 PM)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Limited; may include local errands and support for school events as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform routine maintenance of facilities; address minor repairs and maintenance needs in a timely manner, following a task list provided by the Director
Tasks to include, but not limited to; painting, replacing ceiling tiles, pressure washing, set-up/take down of furniture
Restock supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance materials
Ensure school grounds and facilities remain free of debris and potential hazards
Follow all established safety and security protocols
Assist with setup and breakdown for school events as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to support school operations
Effectively communicate with Administration, faculty and staff

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including sun, heat, cold, and rain
Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, crawl, and reach as needed
Ability to use hands for tools and equipment
Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
Uniform shirt provided
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Trustworthy, skilled laborer with previous experience in facilities, custodial, or maintenance roles preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning practices
Valid driver’s license required
Salary : $20 - $25
