What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Trinity River Distillery?
Craft Bartenders:
• Basic knowledge in Whiskey and Vodka and the bartending craft.
• Outgoing and high energy person ready to be the face of Trinity River Distillery, and work in a fast paced, fun-loving environment.
• Bartenders need to be welcoming to all and provide the guests with a unique whiskey driven experience.
• Must be able to learn builds of Silver Star & Devil's Grin Gin Cocktails, and handle mixing several cocktails at a time.
• Detail oriented, and able to handle an influx of patrons at once, tours do come down in groups of 30 – 40 people.
• Looking for someone willing to learn facts and information about the Silver Star Spirits, Devil's Grin Texas Gin brands and Trinity River Distillery.
• Bartenders are responsible for keeping the bar/ lounge area clean, helping set up and break down tours, picking up glassware inside and out on the patio, alongside creating delicious cocktails.
• Bartenders will perform opening and closing duties as outlined in the daily task list, To include but not limited to, patio set-up, checking bathrooms, stocking of any items, cleaning, etc.…
• Bartenders will also help with gift shop sales at the bar.
• Bartenders will also be asked to work on special events hosted at both the distillery and off site. Requirements: 21 years of age or older. TABC Certified.
• 3-5 years craft bartending/ service industry.
• Basic Whiskey knowledge.
• Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, lift to 25 pounds, and consistently walk up and down several flights of stairs.
• Basic math and money handling skills.
• Hours: Hours do vary depending on events held at Trinity River Distillery.
• Basic hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday plus other days of the week when we have events.
