POSITION SUMMARY
This position consists of routine cleaning and custodial work in the project offices, lab and shop. In addition, this individual is responsible for minor maintenance and cleaning duties both inside and outside the buildings. This work is generally performed under close supervision and is subject to regular review.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for cleanliness and minor repair of project offices.
2. Runs errands.
3. Responsible for the janitorial duties of the office.
WORK LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not regularly provide work leadership or full personnel management to any employees.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
No significant financial responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
(required level of education)
High school diploma preferred.
EXPERIENCE
(minimum years and types of related experience required)
Some experience is preferred in janitorial or general cleaning work.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
(any specialized certifications licenses or registrations required by TRA or other authority in order to do the job, including those the incumbent must be able to obtain)
Valid Texas driver’s License.
KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and use of cleaning tools, such as buffers, vacuum cleaners, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are almost always carried out in an office environment; however, working conditions include exposure to weather when conducting yard work.
