Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, medication administration, and behavioral changes accurately in medical records
- Implement behavior management plans using applied behavior analysis techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Support clients during activities and therapies related to special education, social work, and behavioral health needs
- Respond promptly to crisis situations or behavioral incidents using crisis management protocols
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors for ongoing assessment and treatment adjustments
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical documentation and sensitive information
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health conditions preferred
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical records documentation
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively while ensuring client safety
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, families, and healthcare providers
- Certification or experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA), addiction counseling, or special education is a plus
- Must be dependable with a flexible attitude toward shift hours; weekend availability is essential

Pay: $17.75 - $18.00 per hour
