• TITLE: **Slitter Operator C
• POSITION OBJECTIVE: **To efficiently run draw tape according to size and color.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Available for overtime.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Safety complies with all written and verbal safety rules that apply for the plant and department. Must be willing and able to wear all personal protective equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Learn all future tasks of the job, and show continuous improvement throughout training process.
• Able to name and use standard hand tools.
• Basic math such as adding, subtraction, etc.
• Inspect blades and do blade changes every 3 hours, or as needed.
• Take samples to Q.C. once during their shift.
• Must be able to fill in for packers when needed.
• Must be able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.
  
  

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
  
  

Physical Activity Required For This Position

• Stooping/Bending
• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time
