TITLE: Maintenance Technician A
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner to keep the machines running at optimal level
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
Basic electrical knowledge and experience.
Available to work overtime.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Job Responsibilities
Compliance with company policies
Assist other technicians
Troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and make repairs. (Bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, etc.).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position
Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
Physical Activity Required For This Position
Stooping/Bending
Kneeling
Standing for long periods of time
Able to work from elevated heights over 8 feet
