Maintenance Technician B
Position Objective
Operate in a safe and efficient manner to keep the machines running at optimal level.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Basic electrical knowledge and experience.
- Available to work overtime.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
- Compliance with company policies
- Assist other technicians
- Troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and make repairs. (Bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
- Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
- Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
- Stooping/Bending
- Kneeling
- Standing for long periods of time
- Able to work from elevated heights over 8 feet
