Property Manager
A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a mixed-income, mixed-use housing community.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can turn this site around and bring it to a better place. We’re looking for someone motivated, organized, and able to work independently while guiding a site team. This role requires someone who values strong resident relations while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of property operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Prepare reports, monitor expenditures, and adhere to established budgets
- Supervise and support site staff, delegating responsibilities effectively
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with agencies and public officials
- Resolve resident conflicts and develop community engagement programs
- Attend board meetings and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements
- Implement capital improvements and maintain compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, MSDS, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Strong background in property management, including rent collections, recertifications, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience supervising site teams and driving positive site performance
- LIHTC Certified and/or CPO, COS, SHCM, or equivalent affordable housing certifications required
- Knowledge of Public Housing, LIHTC, PBV, and the legal process strongly preferred
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Knowledge of Yardi software preferred
Compensation
Salary: $88,000 - 90,0000 annually
