Position: Digital Communications Coordinator
General Function: The Digital Communications Coordinator (DCC) develops, implements, and oversees the internal and external digital communications of Trinity Lutheran Church (TLC). The DCC connects members to the mission and ministry of TLC.
Accountability: This is a part-time, paid staff position, with supervision provided by the Senior Pastor.
Time Commitment: Flexible, as needed, maximum 10 hours per week.
Qualifications: Requires demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in digital communication and administrative functions as stated herein. Must be able to relate to, and work effectively with, staff, church members, volunteers, and others in a caring and supportive way that builds morale. The DCC must be familiar with both MAC and PC devices, operating systems, platforms, video editing software, sound system, and social media.
Areas of Primary Responsibility:
Support, equip and empower staff and members to:
- Produce videos, picture montage, and other digital media for worship as requested.
- Ensure a cadre of trained individuals are available to operate Sunday worship service audio and visual equipment.
- Maintain TLC’s online presence through website and social media platforms.
Expectations:
1. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding pastoral and other personal matters.
2. Maintain an atmosphere of hospitality and warmth toward all who come into contact with the
Church Office.
3. Perform specific duties and other assignments as needed.
4. Train those designated by the worship committee to provide audio and streaming services for
Sunday worship.
