In This Role, You Will
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning initiatives
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Coach managers on performance management, leadership development, and engagement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple regions
- Oversee compliance programs, audits, and documentation processes
- Support team member development by identifying skill gaps and recommending growth opportunities
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends to help attract and retain top talent
- Use HR data and analytics to identify trends and guide strategic decisions
- Lead change management initiatives and cross-functional HR projects
- Has 5–7 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- Brings strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation, compliance, and organizational development
- Is confident using HRIS systems and data (Dayforce experience is a plus)
- Has strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Builds trust easily and can influence at all levels of an organization
- Holds (or is interested in obtaining) HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR
- Is open to occasional travel and is ideally based in the Midwest
