Associate Attorney

Trinity Law PC
Lancaster, PA Full Time
POSTED ON 6/18/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 7/16/2026

Company Description

Trinity Law, a Pennsylvania general practice law firm for 50 years, seeks a full-time Attorney for its Lancaster Office, located at 1586 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. Trinity Law provides comprehensive legal services across diverse practice areas, including family law, estate planning and administration, employment law, elder law, and more, with a legacy of serving individuals, businesses, organizations and nonprofits.

About the Job

Trinity Law is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who desires to build their practice in the areas of family law (including custody, protection from abuse and dependency matters), estate planning, criminal, and/or civil litigation. A book of business is preferred but not required. This position is a unique opportunity for an Attorney seeking to grow their practice while working in a supportive, smaller firm environment. While the ideal candidate is experienced (2 years’ experience in one or more of the practice areas listed) we will also consider a highly motivated, talented candidate with less experience who has a strong work ethic. The position offers immediate, hands-on experience in the courtroom, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to build long-term, meaningful relationships. The candidate will have the ability to manage a caseload independently, to maintain frequent client interaction and long-term client planning.

Essential Functions:

As part of the Trinity Team, the Associate Attorney candidate will:

· Take the Lead: Manage your own caseload from initial consultation to final resolution, with autonomy, while having access to mentorship.

· Get into the Courtroom: Attend hearings and conduct discovery, gaining valuable litigation experience.

· Family Law Focus: Family Law Associate to manage caseload focusing on child custody disputes, Protection from Abuse (PFA) matters, and child dependency matters, where high conflict resolution skills are helpful.

· Draft with Purpose: Prepare pleadings, motions, and comprehensive estate planning documents (wills, Powers of Attorney, and living wills).

· Build Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, balancing empathetic client service with litigation and detailed planning.

· Legal Writing: Draft letters, pleadings, motions, and estate planning documents.

· Time Management: Balance urgent litigation deadlines with detailed planning matters.

· Relationship-Focused: Our clients come to us during pivotal life moments and require compassionate, diligent service.

· Direct Growth: This is a career path, not just a job. We encourage you to build your own client base.

· Work-Life Balance: We offer a fast-paced environment that respects your time and professionalism.

· Collaboration: Work closely with a team where your input is valued.
