Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Houston, TX, for a Director of Development. The Director of Development will lead, strategize, and implement fundraising initiatives, including managing planned and annual giving programs. Responsibilities include cultivating donor relationships, designing and achieving fundraising goals, creating and monitoring budgets, developing philanthropic strategies, and actively supporting the overall mission of Trinity Klein. The position serves as a role critical to advancing the mission and vision of the organization.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving, with a demonstrated ability to lead and expand donation programs
- Strong experience in Philanthropy and Fundraising, with an ability to build meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Proficient in Budgeting and financial planning for development initiatives
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or similar; advanced degree is a plus
- Experience in faith-based organizations or mission-driven environments is preferred but not required
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- 5 years of experience in development or related roles is highly desirable
