Position Overview
The Workforce & Family Navigator is the first point of support for Trinity HR Solutions’ Team Member for Life™ program. This entry-level role connects employees and their families to essential community services—such as childcare, housing, transportation, financial assistance, and wellness programs—that impact long-term employment success. The Navigator helps bridge the gap between work and life by ensuring that each team member has access to the resources needed to thrive at work and at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and their families seeking assistance through the 360° Workforce & Family Services™ program.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify barriers to employment stability (transportation, childcare, housing, financial, health, etc.).
- Provide referrals and connections to community-based organizations, nonprofits, and support programs.
- Maintain a current directory of local service providers and build strong relationships with partner agencies.
- Follow up with participants to ensure they successfully access services and resources.
- Document interactions and maintain confidential records in compliance with company policies.
- Support the HR and staffing teams by reporting trends, common needs, and potential program improvements.
- Promote the Team Member for Life™ model by actively engaging participants and explaining available supports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in human services, social work, HR, or related field (bachelor’s preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Compassionate, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, or case management software).
- Prior experience in customer service, workforce development, or nonprofit/social service support is a plus but not required.
