Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Wichita, KS.

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions. This role focuses on restoring mobility, improving functional independence, and supporting patient recovery through individualized, evidence-based therapy interventions.

The therapist will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Therapists will provide care for patients requiring:
Post-surgical rehabilitation
Neurological recovery
Orthopedic rehabilitation
Mobility and functional training
Strength, balance, and endurance improvement

Perform patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments
Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions
Utilize assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment as needed
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on recovery and rehabilitation strategies
Participate in care planning and team meetings

Active Kansas Physical Therapist License
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with hospital-based workflows
Experience working with diverse patient populations

40 hours guaranteed per week
Monday – Friday schedule
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No on-call requirements mentioned

Position is based in a rehabilitation hospital environment
Candidates must be comfortable working in a structured inpatient setting
Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential
