JOB SUMMARY
As an employee of Trinity Health System, it is the responsibility of this and all positions within the Hospital to support the mission and role of Trinity Health System. In addition, this position will actively support the Hospital's Strategic Plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth, in a team-based environment. The employee also performs all job duties in compliance with laws and regulations in the observance of accrediting agency standards. Administers care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. The Surgical Tech will maintain standards of professional nursing care according to standards, recommended practices and guidelines of AORN, Inc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists.
Surgical Tech certification required.
Fist Assist certification required
Training and Experience
Minimum of one year perioperative experience preferred.
BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
Health and Background Requirements

Must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
