Key Responsibilities
- Meal Service: Set up dining areas, serve meals and beverages, and ensure residents receive their food promptly.
- Resident Interaction: Engage with residents in a friendly manner, addressing their dietary preferences and special requests with care and professionalism.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for residents.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and personal hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
