What You Will Do
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across assigned areas, ensuring infection control and universal precautions.
- Perform daily tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and deep cleaning.
- Report and address maintenance needs such as light bulb replacements and equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with residents and staff to create a warm, calm, and welcoming environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and maintain safety standards.
- Uphold resident rights, including confidentiality, personal space, and property.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in long-term care or working with geriatric populations preferred.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and professionalism.
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and accountability skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and support residents’ needs.
- Self-motivated and capable of planning and implementing organizational goals.
