Location: PACE New Jersey

Hours - Monday - Friday 8-4:30

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist to support our PACE program by coordinating quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance activities across medical, home care, and contracted services. This role partners closely with the Quality & Compliance Director to ensure quality outcomes, participant safety, and continuous survey readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive performance improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain scorecards and dashboards for tracking, trending, and reporting quality metrics.
  • Support interdisciplinary teams in developing and executing action plans, audits, and corrective measures.
  • Assist with survey readiness, regulatory audits, and compliance monitoring.
  • Develop audit tools, conduct internal reviews, and identify trends to improve care outcomes.
  • Monitor infection control data and ensure adherence to OSHA and CMS requirements.
  • Coordinate Quality Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and reporting materials.
  • Ensure grievance and appeals processes meet compliance standards and support participant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, quality management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality, compliance, or performance improvement; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience working with elderly or frail populations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, federal and state requirements) preferred.
