Description
Trinity Health PACE Alexandria is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, and daily food service for our frail and elderly participants. This role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment while working as part of a collaborative care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and meal setup
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, equipment, and dining areas
- Follow all dietary, safety, and infection‑control procedures
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory
- Prepare snacks and supplements as directed
- Provide excellent customer service to participants and visitors
- Support quality improvement efforts and attend required training
- Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of food prep experience (healthcare preferred)
- CNA Certification preferred
- Experience working with frail or elderly adults (or willingness to train)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
