Position Purpose
Trinity Health of New England is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in our acute care rehabilitation department at Saint Mary's Hospital.
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for performing evaluations, direct patient treatment, and documentation for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficit, neurological disorders, swallowing/oral motor impairment. SLP identifies appropriate goals and develops treatment plans to respond to those goals.

What Will You Do
- Performs comprehensive evaluations.
- Establishes functional goals based upon evaluation results targeting deficit areas, to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
- Provides professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.,
- completes all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State of Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
