Completes patientregistrations/pre-registration processes in the ED following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.

What you will do
- Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
- Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits
- Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are
- Collects non-covered fees
- Minimum High school or equivalent
- One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
- Part time 16hrs every two week cycle (equivalent of 8hr per week) on weekday 6:45a-3:15p shift
- TRAINING/ORIENTATION IS 2 WEEKS MON-FRI 8A-4:30P including time in Springfield, MA
