Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Nurse located in Waterbury, CT. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, assisting in childbirth, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The nurse will also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Labor and Delivery Nursing, Nursing, and Labor and Delivery skills
- Strong Medicine and Critical Thinking skills
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress and fast-paced environments
- Current RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Experience in labor and delivery is highly preferred
- BSN degree or higher is a plus
