Position Purpose
In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital is Connecticut's only freestanding acute care rehabilitation hospital and is the largest provider of these services in Connecticut. Its focus is to restore the lives of people following serious illness or injury through programs for traumatic brain injury, stroke/neurological rehabilitation, sports medicine, spinal cord injuries and orthopedics.

Position Purpose
In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence.
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting.
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Per Diem-Rotating Schedule
