The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for performing credentialing and provider enrollment for all new and existing providers with appropriate entities including insurance companies, hospitals, nursing facilities, external agencies, etc.

Description
Position Purpose:
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for performing credentialing and provider enrollment for all new and existing providers with appropriate entities including insurance companies, hospitals, nursing facilities, external agencies, etc.
What You Will Do
- Complete applications in a timely manner and according to specific requirements with current provider/group information
- Track progress and notify external/internal customers as appropriate to ensure expeditious completion of provider credentialing
- Ensure complete and updated provider certifications, licensure, insurances, privileges, malpractice histories, and all other pertinent information
- Lead the processes and functions of credentialing and provider enrollment
- Alert internal and external parties on credentialing and provider enrollment process, to support the timely, accurate and complete credentialing, re-credentialing and enrollment of all THOfNE employed/contracted physicians and midlevel providers
- Complete payer enrollment tasks in EPIC
- Any other tasks as assigned
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Affiliation with Professional Credentialing Associations desirable
- Minimum two (2) years Credentialing experience required
- Minimum two (2) years Health Care billing experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and knowledge of CAQH software is essential
