What Will You Do
Part-time: 24 hrs. per week, Evening Shift

Description
On the Inpatient General Surgery Unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Clerical Coordinator serves by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth communication among healthcare providers on the unit
What Will You Do
- Administrative Support: Handle clerical duties such as answering phone calls, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments. Ensure that all patient files are accurate and up-to-date.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors, assist with admissions and discharges, and address patient inquiries, directing them to the appropriate healthcare professionals as needed.
- Communication Coordination: Serve as a communication link between patients, nurses, doctors, and other departments, relaying important information and ensuring that all parties are informed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order medical supplies as needed, maintaining an organized and well-stocked unit.
- Education: High School or equivalency certificate is required.
- Experience: Clerical Coordinator, or Unit Secretary experience in an Acute Inpatient setting is preferred.
Part-time: 24 hrs. per week, Evening Shift
- 8-hour shift, 3 p to 11:30 p
- Rotating weekends and holidays are required
