Provide a variety of sterilization processing functions, manual & automated decontamination procedures.

Position Purpose
Provide a variety of sterilization processing functions, manual & automated decontamination procedures.
What You Will Do
- Provide sterile instruments & clean equipment to the Operating Room, Gastroenterology, WIC, Emergency Dept. & other departments as needed.
- Decontaminate, process, and reassemble instruments for sterilization and safely operate all steam, Sterrad and EtO sterilizers and effectively utilize cart washer and washer-decontaminators.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Certification: Central Sterile Processing Technician or graduate of a program that qualifies the candidate to sit and pass the exam within Six (6) months from date of hire.
